  • Presentation of the network

Created in 2006 and currently with around a hundred members, the Museums and Memorials of Contemporary Conflicts (MMCC) network is run by the Ministry of the Armed Forces Directorate for Heritage, Remembrance and Archives (DPMA). Its purpose is to form synergies between its members, coordinate their initiatives and facilitate their inclusion, both as part of central government policy to stimulate the growth of remembrance tourism and local policies to promote museums and remembrance sites.
